A Quiet Winter, A Creative Start to the Year

It’s been an unexpectedly rich first quarter — and in the best way, much of that growth has been personal.

Staying open to opportunity — especially when it arrives unplanned — has always been a meaningful challenge for me. This year I’m proud of myself for leaning into new ideas, trying things that felt a little different, and saying yes when inspiration and opportunity appeared.

While it may have seemed like I was hibernating all winter, that hasn’t exactly been the case.

Yes, I took a bit of time to rest and recharge (something I’m constantly re-learning is essential for creativity). But behind the scenes there has also been a wonderful burst of new work taking shape.

This season of growth has brought:

  • Four new paintings

  • Five new cyanotypes

  • Two new bandana and scarf designs

  • Twice as many in-person events as last year

  • My first solo event at Rushing Duck Brewing Company this May

  • A new stationery line featuring my artwork in collaboration with Maine stationer Quill & Pigeon (coming soon)

I’ll be updating my event schedule soon to reflect all of these new and exciting developments, along with several shop updates in the coming weeks.

If you know me, you know there’s nothing I value more than the relationships that grow from this work. So I’m especially looking forward to more opportunities to see you in person this year — to share pieces you can see, touch, and experience the way they’re meant to be.

Thank you, as always, for your curiosity and for your continued support. It means more than you know.
